Contact And Appointments
Start With Photographs, Not A Drop-In
Philotes Dolls has no contact form and does not take valuation drop-ins. Email first with photographs so the workshop can decide whether an assessment appointment is useful.
hello@philotesdolls.comWhat To Include
Please include three clear photographs: full front, full back and a close detail of the damage or mechanism. Add the approximate height, the material if known, and whether the doll is to be collected, posted, sold or kept as an heirloom.

Workshop visits are by appointment only. One client is seen at a time so incoming photographs, condition notes and estimates are not rushed.
Location
Ludlow, Shropshire
The workshop trades from Ludlow and serves collectors, families, small museums, auction buyers and dealers who need precise condition work rather than cosmetic overpainting.
Local collection and return is available within 18 miles of Ludlow for £18 each way, covering Leominster, Tenbury Wells, Craven Arms, Church Stretton and Bridgnorth by arrangement.
Posting
Pack The Head As Its Own Object
Posted dolls must arrive in a rigid box with the head separately cushioned. Do not include original stands, loose accessories, keys or fragile costume pieces unless the workshop has asked for them.
Return postage is by Royal Mail Special Delivery or Parcelforce 48 with insurance at cost. No restoration begins until you have approved a written scope of work by email.
